The 5th wire on your boat trailer is most likely tied into a reverse lockout. What this does when you are backing up it doesn't allow the brakes to engage on the trailer. So without it the surge brakes on your trailer will activate when you're trying to back up your trailer. When you try to reverse the surge brake will think you are stopping causing them to activate. If your surge brake has a manual lockout or override then you won't have a problem. If the electric lockout is the only option... view full answer...

You would not actually need a connector because the Miro-Flex LED Trailer Side Marker Light and Mid-Ship Turn Signal - Submersible - Amber Lens # OPT78FR comes with its own connector, a Delphi plug, already attached.
If your trailer doesn't have a Delphi connector for this light to plug into, there is actually the same exact light available, but with the standard 3-wire pigtail that you would just splice in:

You won't want to cut a jack like the Square Direct Weld Jack # TJD-8000, with the issue being that doing so you would cut the lift rod inside the jack, not to mention void the warranty, and compromise its capacity. So I would avoid doing that, though I can sympathize with your issue, as 4 or 5 inches is pretty low.
There isn't an absolute minimum standard for how high off the ground a jack should be, but generally you want a jack to be about 8 inches off the ground to ensure clearances... view full answer...
Payload is any weight added to the vehicle, including cargo and passengers inside; it doesn't matter if it is in front or behind the rear axle. Tongue weight, on the other hand, is any weight added behind the rear axle of the vehicle; this includes cargo in the trunk or bed along with the tongue weight of your trailer. Tongue weight counts as payload.
In your case, the cargo carrier and everything on the cargo carrier will count as tongue weight, thus counting as payload as well. I attached... view full answer...

There isn't a specific hub that will work with the Karrier ST175/80R13 Radial Trailer Tire with 13" Galvanized Wheel - 5 on 4-1/2 # AM31994, though you will need one that has the same 5 on 4-1/2 bolt pattern. I can tell you how to determine the correct hub, as you'll need a bit of information.
First, you need to know the weight rating of your axle, and also what bearings your current hub has. You will need to take apart your current hub assembly and look at the bearings themselves; wipe... view full answer...
I checked with Bulldog and there isn't a replacement nut alone for your 12,000 lb Bulldog jack built between 1991 and 1993. I'd love to give you an easy solution here but there isn't an option available to fix your jack, so the best we can do is a replacement jack.
Depending on what you need you can go with something like the Buyers Products Heavy Duty 4" Square Jack # 3370091410H.
I know it's not the solution you were looking for but it is the only option due to the nut not being available,... view full answer...

The best place for mounting the thermostat from the Kat's Heaters Universal Ether Start Fluid Injection System # KH33200, is going to be on the engine block away from any heating elements or other heat sources that may give the system a false sense of temperature. It will only allow for the ether system to work if the temperature reading is below 50 degrees Fahrenheit.

The Performance Tool Moving Dollies # PTW54013 are used for moving a car, riding mower, trailer and many other items. They will definitely get your 2,500 pound car moved around. I have actually had people order two sets of these to get all 4 wheels covered and then moved a small truck, on a flat surface of course. The steel trays and cast iron wheels are built for durability, so they are built to last. view full answer...
I spoke to my contact at Wilmar Corp, he said that the Rechargeable Mosquito Zapper and Lantern - 180 Lumens - 500V # AT84VR should kill gnats and biting flies if they were to get close enough to the zapper. The # AT84VR is not designed to attract gnats and biting flies, but the lantern could attract them when it is on. view full answer...
Not to worry, the added weight of a weight distribution hitch such as the Reese Pro Round Bar Weight Distribution # RE44FR for your 4,500 lb Evergreen camper does NOT count as added towing weight or tongue weight. There is an issue though, in that the Reese # RE44FR is likely overrated for your camper. The reason for that is the hitch is rated for tongue weights between 600 lbs and 1,150 lbs, and for the best performance your tongue weight should be in the middle of the weight distribution... view full answer...
It's recommended that trailer hubs be pulled and the bearings and races cleaned and inspected and the bearings repacked every 12 months or 12,000 miles.
Assuming you're speaking of an EZ Lube spindle, I'd recommend checking the grease fill monthly. Attach your grease gun such as # L30-310 to the zerk fitting and gently apply pressure until you see the outer bearing move or see grease oozing through the outer bearing. Being too forceful and adding too much grease too quickly can blow out... view full answer...

According to the fine folks at Hydrastar, any 13 inch diameter hub/rotor would work with the calipers and caliper mounting brackets. You'll want to make sure that the hub/rotor you use is compatible with the bearing set that your spindles use and that the hub rotor you use has wheel studs whose diameter is compatible with your existing wheels.
